Digital technologies for spatial information

A bridge of solutions between citizens and institutions

NeMeA Sistemi supports the Public Authorities with advanced tools for management and analysis of spatial data and infrastructure. Through advanced GIS platforms and Geographically distributed data lakes, we promote the digitalisation of processes and strategic planning, enabling territorial monitoring, the integration of information from various sources, and decision support in critical areas such as hydrogeological risk, resource management and urban planning. Thanks to interoperable solutions, data is transformed into operational tools to improve the quality of services for citizens.

Earth Observation from Space

Thesatellite data analysis involves the interpretation of information obtained through RADAR/SAR sensors (Synthetic Aperture Radar). These instruments enable detailed images of the Earth’s surface to be obtained, regardless of weather conditions or the presence of sunlight, making them particularly useful for environmental monitoring, the emergency management and theanalysis of changes in the local area.
At the same time, the processing and analysis of high-definition optical images, which provide an extremely detailed visual representation of the ground. This process improves image quality, bringing out details that are essential for applications such as cartography, the urban monitoring and theanalysis of natural phenomena.

Development of vertical applications in a geographical environment

We develop vertical applications for the data management and the automated document production. All the applications were developed at the organisation’s request and are constantly updated.

Digitalisation and cloud services

In recent years, the digitisation of archives has become increasingly important, particularly within the Public Authorities. The digitisation of the paper-based archive The organisation’s technology is essential for providing swift responses to enquiries from local government officials, members of the public and independent professionals through the use of enabling technology.
For this reason NeMeA Sistemi offers technical support in the creation of thedigital archive of case files offering a modular solution ranging from the digitisation of documentation and its subsequent integration into the organisation’s management system, right through to the display of information linked to cadastral maps.

This service aims to:

  • To make it easier to find information (files, documents, etc.);
  • To digitise the paper-based archive whilst ensuring its integrity;
  • To provide a faster service to members of the public and self-employed professionals;
  • Integrate the information within a geographical context;
  • Provide dedicated platforms for case management or integrate the data into existing platforms.

Websites and mobile apps

We offer digital services for the creation of websites, integrated with WebGIS systems that make the technology for real-time sharing of spatial information accessible to everyone. Furthermore, NeMeA Sistemi It develops mobile applications designed to support the interactive and real-time monitoring of critical infrastructure, thereby facilitating the management and planning of resources across the region.

Land and marine surveys

We provide prompt surveying services through mobile GIS equipment, which can be used to generate information layers directly from the local census.

Land surveys: house numbers

  • Identification of the georeferenced house number and its link to the building or cadastral parcel;
  • Archiving of toponymic information;
  • Delivery in the required GIS format;
  • Photographic survey of access points;
  • Review/harmonisation of house numbering;
  • Uploading data to the Revenue Agency’s portal.

Marine surveys: coastline and bathymetric surveys

Through the use of an aquatic drone Hydra®, USV (Unmanned Surface Vessel), NeMeA Sistemi is capable of carrying out seabed and lake bed monitoring surveys. Hydra®, featuring GNSS, SONAR and HD camera, it can be programmed or operated from the coast in such a way as to enable surveys of the the coastal zone up to 3 km from the shore. Geographical data layers with centimetre-level accuracy can be generated from the survey.

GIS Training

Through its experienced and qualified staff, NeMeA Sistemi offers courses in training in GIS systems, QGIS open-source platform, both in ‘Educational’ mode – including at its own offices – and in ‘OnWork’ mode, through hands-on support at clients’ premises.
