Services for Individuals & Businesses: Utilities

Data Digitisation for Individuals and Utility Companies

Tailored solutions for every need

For Businesses, utility companies and private individuals, NeMeA Sistemi provides solutions for the monitoring and analysis of critical infrastructure, by combining RADAR/SAR and optical satellite data high-resolution with Artificial Intelligence techniques. We offer tools for predictive maintenance, the risk management and theoptimisation of energy, water and telecommunications networks. Our solutions enable you to improve operational efficiency, reduce running costs and enhance the safety and reliability of your infrastructure.

Earth Observation from Space

NeMeA uses theEarth observation from space by means of a Deep geographically distributed data lake, powered by RADAR/SAR and optical satellite images over a ten-year period. This system makes it possible to monitor critical infrastructure, identify thermal shock scenarios and to anticipate inefficiencies in electricity networks. Thanks to the use of satellite data, such as that from the the COSMO-SkyMed and Sentinel constellations, and techniques for Deep Learning, NeMeA produces advanced analyses of Change Detection and Radar Classification. The aim is to support the predictive maintenance of infrastructure and improve energy resilience in the face of climate change.

Development of vertical applications in a geographical environment

The vertical applications in a geographical context Developed by NeMeA, they integrate spatial data with advanced analytical tools. These applications are designed for specific sectors, such as the management of critical infrastructure and are based on a WebGIS powered by a comprehensive geographical data lake. Thanks to real-time horizontal integrations These applications enable information from different sources to be cross-referenced, improving the monitoring and forecasting of significant events such as thermal shocks and hydrogeological changes. The combined use of satellite data and techniques for Artificial Intelligence enables you to optimise the network management and planning.

Mapping of technology networks

For data collection, methods based on the analysis of historical records and the consultation of maps and paper-based documentation will be employed. This process will enable the gathering of detailed and reliable information, which is essential for subsequent processing.

At the same time, a GIS system will be set up, equipped with specific data export functions. This system will not only enable the management and analysis of the information collected, but also its dissemination and publication across various platforms, including the intranet, extranet, the internet and mobile devices, thereby ensuring easy and widespread access to the data.

SINFI data transcoding

NeMeA Sistemi is recognised by Infratel Italia, an in-house company of the Ministry of Economic Development, such as qualified operator to ensure the necessary expertise to support the operators or owners of underground utility networks in their communication activities and data transfer to the SINFI as provided for in the Decree of 11 May 2016 “Establishment of SINFI – the National Federated Infrastructure Information System. (16A04456)” (Official Gazette, General Series No. 139 of 16 June 2016). As a result of this recognition, NeMeA Sistemi has been included in the list of qualified operators on the SINFI website.

Land and marine surveys

NeMeA uses an advanced system of rland and marine surveys for to monitor the territory and the coastal environment, by integrating satellite data, GIS and Artificial Intelligence. Through the analysis of RADAR/SAR and optical imagery, the geographical data lake gathers essential information for infrastructure management and environmental protection. Ground-based surveys focus on the land use, thehydrology and the temperature fluctuations, whilst marine species include the study of the coastline and bathymetry to assess theerosion and the hydrogeological risk.

Ground-based observations

Ground-based observations make it possible to monitor land use and land consumption, identifying changes caused by urbanisation, agriculture or natural events. Thanks to hyperspectral and satellite data, derived from RADAR/SAR satellite imagery, in particular from the analysis of the COSMO-SkyMed constellation (CSK and CSG) of theItalian Space Agency, it is possible to identify changes in vegetation cover, analyse the soil quality and to anticipate future impacts on infrastructure and natural resources.

Marine surveys: coastline and bathymetric surveys

Through the use of an aquatic drone Hydra®, USV (Unmanned Surface Vessel), NeMeA Sistemi is capable of carrying out seabed and lake bed monitoring surveys. Hydra®, featuring GNSS, SONAR and HD camera, it can be programmed or operated from the coast in such a way as to enable surveys of the the coastal zone up to 3 km from the shore. Geographical data layers with centimetre-level accuracy can be generated from the survey.

GIS Training

The support for digitalisation through the GIS training, is understood as a process for disseminating and updating the skills required to manage and analyse geographical data in a digital environment. In this context, WebGIS, powered by a comprehensive geographical data lake, becomes a vital tool for integrating and visualising spatial information, facilitating the sharing of and access to data for operators and decision-makers. The information illustrating this approach is taken from the document, which emphasises how digitalisation, supported by GIS infrastructure, is strategic for the monitoring and planning of infrastructure.
