Vertical applications within QGIS
Accessible technological innovation
Since the creation of theQGIS Plugin Ecosystem, the original idea has always been to make technology accessible and available to as many people as possible, from institutions to professionals, moving away from the notion of exclusivity and accessibility for the few. To support this process, over the years we have developed a number of user-friendly vertical applications in a GIS environment, so that our customers can focus on production whilst leaving it to the plug-ins to organise, update and validate the geographic information layers. There are many plug-ins currently available from NeMeA Sistemi and some have now become real evergreens – let’s discover them all!
Generation of Planning Permission Certificates
CDU It is a QGIS plugin aimed at all Public Authorities which carry out land-use planning and control functions, in particular local authorities and regional bodies that need to represent the urban planning tools and produce Planning Permission Certificates automatically (e.g. local authorities, park authorities, provincial authorities, etc.).
Cemetery Management
ADE It is a QGIS plugin designed to meet the needs of management of the municipal cemetery, offering an effective solution for the locating ground-level graves, family graves and burial niches. This tool enables users not only to manage elements identified in the field, but also to administer the individual associated licences. Using the dedicated filters section, the operator can identify on the map all structures without a permit or with an expired permit, thereby assisting the authority in the automated generation of the renewal document.
Survey and Management of House Numbering
CIVICI It is a QGIS plugin addressed to all bodies that carry out the functions of update to the list of place names in the municipality as required by ISTAT. The application allows you to search for, view, enter and update the municipal street directory and the house numbering external via guided procedures.
Urban Property Management
UIU It is a QGIS plugin which allows you to enter, manage and update the alphanumeric land registry data, metres provided by Revenue Agency. The application allows you to link ownership details, addresses, urban property units, cadastral plans, rooms, etc. to each plot of land and building.
Surveying and Management of Street Lighting
STREET LIGHTING It is a solution aimed at all organisations involved in maintenance and management of the street lighting system. The suite is a comprehensive, simple, intelligent and reliable tool for Surveying and management of street lighting which fully incorporates the provisions set out in terms of data model, layout and structure by the Decree of 11 May 2016 “Establishment of SINFI – the National Federated Infrastructure Information System. (16A04456)” (Official Gazette, General Series No. 139 of 16 June 2016).
Management of Medium- and Low-Voltage Electricity Networks
LOW VOLTAGE It is a SINFI-compliant plugin Aimed at companies, organisations that own or operate electricity networks. It is a solution that provides an overview of the entire area, showing all the electricity grid. The system enables the geographical location of all objects on the network to be identified and allows them to be queried in order to view their attributes.
Production Management
GAP It is a QGIS plugin which was set up with the aim of supporting the Industrial Consortia in the management of spatial information and economic activities. The system enables the management of data relating to industrial estates and the businesses located within them, as well as information on networks and infrastructure, maintenance, green spaces, etc.
Water Supply and Sewerage Management
AQA It is a user-centred solution for geographical databases, focused on management of the water supply service and for the repopulation and the management of the drainage network for the conveyance of white water, black water and mixed water.
Management and Updating of Civic Rights
PUBLIC USES It is a QGIS plugin addressed to all organisations in the management and updating of common rights and their concessions. Using the plugin, it is possible to link both the concessionaire’s details and the concession details to each civic use on the map, manage annual or multi-year renewals, and generate the concession document automatically.
Fibre-Optic Management
OPTICAL FIBRE It is a QGIS plugin Aimed at all organisations and companies specialising in fibre-optic management. TheSINFI-compliant application It allows users to add new objects (linear and point objects), manage sections, individual nodes (including all equipment) and junction schemes. All objects can be located on the map and viewed via the application.
